Review of “Flickriver”
Hi girls
It’s been available a couple of years, but here’s a little gem I would like to share with those that don’t know it: Flickriver.
You will also see a link in my ‘about me’ section, and depending on the width of your screen, you will also see up to 5 of my ‘most interesting’ photos from Flickr. Apparently the exact photos change every time you view it.
Try it. What you see above is a link and then a photo montage badge that you can post into a blog, or anywhere…..I have already added it to my ‘about me’ page here and onto ‘my profile page’ on Flickr.
You can also add a button link like this.
![]()
On flickriver itself you can sign in to your own Flickr account and link the two…….
You can watch your own photos (or someone else’s) as a side-show in terms of:
- When posted (most recent)
- Most interesting (most views/ and or comments)
- Or random
I suggest you press select photo size for ‘fit full screen’
- ….and then hit F11 for full screen viewing without your IE/Mozilla menus (just click F11 again to get them back)
- Just hit spacebar to go on to the next photo
So much easier than viewing on Flickr and I like the fact you are seeing the photos as a full page.
It does seems to have quite a lot of good features.
- If you follow my link and want to see a screenshow of ‘my favourite’ or your own favourite photos, you can do that
- Or go to ‘my contacts’ or your own and look at their recent/ best photos
You can search photos,
- by username,
- by tag,
- by group…..
it all seems quite jolly and you get a full screen pic, with a nice neat black background!
So long as you are signed in, if you especially like a pic and want to leave a comment, download etc , you just double-click and you enter Flickr as normal.
Wonderful aid for the vain tranny of course, but also a great way to see other beautiful pics.
Hope you like
hugs TinaCortina xx
